Eduardo Terrazas
Artwork Description
This series is emblematic, as it was here that the artist first used the wool yarn technique adhered to a wooden surface with Campeche wax. In this pictorial exploration, the surface is diagrammed using bands and areas of solid colors with clearly defined edges and perimeters. This formal solution plays with dynamic visual balances that are constantly reconfigured. The use of the wool yarn technique reflects the formal experimentation within the pictorial field, while introducing a tactile dimension.
