In Lignum Scientia, José Bedia immerses us in a symbolic universe where the tree, stripped and majestic, stands as a bridge between the cosmos and the earth. The ritual mask embedded in its trunk and the anthropomorphic figures that contemplate it evoke an ancestral knowledge, rooted in traditions that are immersed in the ancestral and tribal cultures that coexist in modernity. Through a sober chromatic palette and an energetic stroke, Bedia invites us to reflect on the importance of preserving our cultural and spiritual roots and to recognize the tree as a universal symbol of wisdom and connection with nature.
